Microsoft to acquire Nokia

The mobile handset company that ruled many years in the early stage of mobile phones is not going to produce product alone. The software gaint Microsoft is going to acquire Nokia.Nokia is one of the most trusted brands in World with almost 150 years of journey. Earlier Nokia tied with Microsoft to deliver Windows phones, a revolutionary mobile operating system which consumes less power. This windows phone strategy worked fine but there is hell out of competition between android and iOS in the mobile market. But still Windows is getting popular day by day.

Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer said it would be accelerating to their growth in surface tablets and upcoming mobile windows mobile devices. Will microsoft able to emerge in mobile handsets with their software strategies.? That's the next big question. Nokia will look into network devices after handing over to Microsoft.
