Atal Innovation Mission - Top 30 Ideas

There is no less of innovation in the young minds of India. To encourage that innovation, AIM (Atal Innovation Mission) has been set up under the NITI Ayog wing. And Atal Tinkering Labs are spread across the country to enable the innovation in the students. After many rounds, top 30 Ideas have been listed here.

Out of these 30 best ideas, a few caught my senses strongly.

Recycling wastewater from automobile garages

We often give a water service for our bike/car monthly or weekly. We tend to saw how our vehicle got a new look after servicing. But, the students of  "Jnana Prabodhini Navnagar Vidyala, Nigdi, Pune, Maharashtra" thought something else. They are interested in the wastewater which can be recycled. What an Idea sir ji!

Smart Tap

Just like how there is a measurement for electricity, mobile data that we are consuming, there will be a smart tap that measures water coming through that tap. The best part is that the tap also purifies the water. This idea came from the students of Maharaja Agrasen Model School, New Delhi.

Smart Headlight

We know how difficult is night drive, especially on roads without dividers. Opposite vehicles' headlights will give flashy glares in our eyes making it hard to ride the vehicle. Students from "Dr. KB Hedgewar High School, Cujira, Goa" got a momentary thought about the problem. The smart headlight will go off for a moment when opposite light approaches. This will make easy recognition of the type of vehicle and edges of the vehicle.

Aadhar Linked Dustbin

This is my favorite. :)
We are far behind in proper management of our waste. Either it is in our houses or streets or villages. Waste management in our country needs all level attention. But let us think about it at our end first. Just imagine everyone having a dustbin and it is aadhar linked. And there will be incentives for proper waste management for that bin. Just like out leaderboards in Android Games, let's have leaderboards in our village for motivated waste management. This idea came from "Dav Public School, Bhubaneswar, Odisha".

Have a look at this site, WasteVentures. Interesting!!

Google's Stadia, the GAME changer!

Having a high-end computer or any one of the boxes (Xbox, PlayStation) is not necessary to play high end games in the near future. Recently Google announced a new product from its armory related to gaming at GDC2019, called Stadia . Stadia offers to stream the game in the web browser itself. The game will be loaded and run on the server side, only the video will be played on your computer/mobile. This can be called as Cloud Gaming or Game as a Service (GaaS). All we need is a decent internet connection and probably a subscription for Stadia. No need for any boxes. The traditional premium boxes will be second thought. Since they are expensive for a casual gamer, Stadia will be the best option to experience big games. High tech spec GPUs, high speed processors and all the expensive hardware part will be saved. Hmm, it sounds awesome!! This is another master plan by Google to rule the digital world. Already Google and it's echo system is way more penetrated...
