It was 40-0 and Murray serving for championship. Djokovic saved all the three with stunning and aggressive returns. It looked like Novak was going to start his special feat, when you were two sets down and facing match points, saving all of them and winning next two sets and match. He did that in past against Roger Federer in US open. Murray also got tensed by him. And finally ended the drought for english people who waited 77 years without a home slam champion. Congratulations, Andy Murray.

Murray was also serving well and finally got break in the 5th game, and held their serves to complete first set with 6-4.
Novak started second set with confidence. Andy held his service game and gave break in the 4th game and suddenly Novak was in a strong position with 4-1 lead. Murray was listening to crowd and played confident game. He broke Novak's service game and it was 4-4. Andy got one more break in 11th game and held his service in next game to take 2-0 sets lead.
Third set started positively for the brit, taking 2-0 games lead when Novak service was broken. Novak, the come backer kept his calm and fought really well and took lead 4-2 games. Andy, the brit in the pursuit of home slam, acknowledged the damage and corrected it. winning next four games to cherish british people's dream of winning home slam for the past 77 years. Really great tennis from Andy, now pressure is totally off for him. When he won the first grandslam at US Open, half of the pressure was gone. ;)
On the other side, Novak didn't play a bad game, but he was hitting many unforced errors, which Roger used to do against Nadal in Roland Garros finals. Both the players played defensively from the beginning but Novak took aggressiveness for wrong points and made unforced errors. but Andy took his chances at right time. I think that is what made the difference today.
"Pretty sure @andy_murray might have to change his twitter name to @sirandymurray ...... Well played and deserved!"
"Andy Murray ends Wimbledon curse on Brits with some outstanding tennis. Congratulations - and also to Ivan Lendl for a job well done."

''It feels slightly different to last year. Last year was one of toughest moments of my career so to manage to win tournament today...I don't know how I came through that last game. Imagine playing it! I've played Novak many times and I think he'll go down as one of the biggest fighters in history. He's come back from losing positions many times before and he nearly did it again today. They've been through everything with me, stuck with me in a lot of tough moments. This one was especially for Ivan as well - I know how he did everything to win this when he was playing, and I'm glad I was able to help him out so he could win it as coach [Lendl smiling!]. He's a fantastic person, been very patient, I'm not easy at times.I understand how much everyone else wanted to see British winner. I hope you enjoyed it (MASSIVE CHEER), I tried my best." - ANDY MURRAY
"Congratulations to Andy. I gave it my all, it was a pleasure to be part of this match, this final" - NOVAK DJOKOVIC
